the engagement point should be really low.. much closer to the floor then stock. Before adjusting mine it was damn near impossible to launch the car with how high it was. bogged like a ****

you definently should lower it, as your first step

 

Next to the front diff, the hollow shaft and center diff will be the next weakest point. Not the rear diff.
