man this thing isnt budging, which way is suppose to go in? I turned it around and it fit flush but the lip thats smaller sticks out. Im assuming that the bevelled end goes on the valve seat but its not going in the valve seats hitting the inside lip of the wastegate.
Anyway for someone to show me a picture.

Its on the first page, and its hitting the inside of the wastegate. I mean it sits in there but its not touching the valve thats in there the 2nd and 3rd pick are both with the valve seat in it and you can see threw the inside that light is visible so its def not touching the valve.

Anyway to check that part# to see if its a real tial 38mm wastegate?

it's real, new seats can sometimes be a pain to get in on a used unit depending on the heat it was exposed to or if the bolts holding the wastegate down were over tightened, then it was exposed to a lot of heat and the flange can warp slightly.

well i def know what the problem is, the inside diameter is the same as this valve seat could this be some freak accident like a 44mm or 40mm seat? cause the opening in this valve seat is almost bigger then the one on the wastegate.
what happened to the old seat?

didnt come with it, i bought it used. so should i send this thing back or what? i mean if this valve seat is wrong i dunno but the vavle seats def bigger then the inlet its suppose to fit in.
What manifold is this? Are you sure that the flange on the manifold is right. If it is an ebay special, you can be sure that is the problem. You will need to weld on a tial flange.

i already welded a new flange on it, it came with the jank 44mm flange but i welded a 38mm flange on it. Im having issue's with the wastegate and the valveseat mainly the flange is so-so. the wastegate bolts to it but the valve seat doesnt sit inside the lip on the 38mm flange i bought.
