just bought the stock ilfr7h plugs..do i need to gap them before i put them in?

yes gap is to be set at 32 or you can set it a little lower at like 29-30 and it wouldnt hurt
ok..what if i just put them in without gapping? im not going to do it but just curious?

well it may not run correctly. even if they come pre-gapped i always check them myself to be sure that they are correct. not having the correct gap could cause spark problems.

I don't believe .032 is the gap for new plugs!
I think the manual says to gap between .021 and .024.
The IXs use a diferent gap than the VIIIs, stock.
