EVO8 Flange "Full Race" Manny?

Ive been on the website for quite a while, dont post much mainly just buy parts for my DOHC conversion and turbo project.

I have a Evo 8 Turbo that I put the 10.5 hotside on. I want to use the evo turbo. But I also want a Full Race Style Manny, but everyone I've found even the knock offs are all T3 flanged. My current block (and wallet) arent exactly ready for a
GT35R so I'm going to keep the evo turbo but would REALLY like to have a full race style manny with an EVO 8 flange.

So after all that talk is there a manifold that is full race styled with an EVO8 flange
and if not, do the runners meet up at the flange to the point where I could just replace the T3 flange and weld up a EVO one?

And sorry if this is in the wrong section it appears to be the right one.
Thanks for the help guys.

the evo8 turbo i believe has a divided housing to it requires the manifold to be designed to scavenge the exhaust properly

yes you are right it does have the twin scroll.

i was wondering if the runners connected to the flange at the same point on the full race manny and others. Because then that would allow me to use the plasma cutter and replace the T3 flange with the twin scroll style flange.

and do you know the answer to whether or not there is a full race manny with an EVO 8 flange?

i did check the site but the only manifold that they had that had an evo flange was the one that looks like the DNP and Megan Manifold.

I want the equal length runner i do believe. the "ram-horn" manifold. but with an EVO flange which im thinking im just crap out of luck with.

and its going on an 01 Eclipse which is interchangable mannys with the evo.

There are several other "tubular" style manifolds for the stock turbo as well. Full race is expensive at 900+ mynes has a nice one at 600+. Then there is a dc sport one, tomei, megan etc that are cheaper. Just search

Ill upload a picture because i think im using the wrong terms... I already have a "tubular" manifold. I have the megan manifold.

What I want is a "ram horn" style manifold.

That is what i want.

there isn't one like that. That is for a t3 flange and is a ebay knock off of the full race manifold. Like I said the closest u can get to that style I'd a full race manifold for the stock turbo or a mynes manifold.

I understand u want a 150-200 dollar cool looking manifold, but unfortunately they dont make one that cheap for the stock Evo turbo. You could ask ssautochrome.com to make a knock off of that style manifold but good luck.

no i dont want a 200 dollar manifold... the megan manifold that I bought was not 200 dollars. What I was wondering was if there was a "ram-horn" manifold with an EVO8 flange. And I know that pic is of an XSspeed manifold but that was just to illustrate the style of manifold that I want. Not the particular brand.

but thanks for the help. but i could have done without the last post with the subtle downing.

ah, i c what you're getting at... there's a little mis-connection here... let me elaborate:
- b/c the stock turbo sits on top, it's impractical to make a ramhorn style manifold.
- in order to the ramhorn to work, the turbo would have to sit on the bottom
- since typical owners don't want to have to change the rest of the pipings (IC, downpipe and turbo lines) just to have a ramhorn stock replacement mani; thus the reason there isn't one on the market for the evo. What u r looking for is going to be a custom manifold

We recently made one for a turbo lancer (see here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=320655&page=2) and we can custom make one for you with the evo header flange and evo8 turbo flange, but u will have to deal with the dp, ic pipes and the turbo lines. Let me know if you're ineterested. The cost is going to be around $800 and delivery time is 1-2 weeks.

Here's the Ramhorn we've been selling for the Honda b-series:

thank you for the elaboration. It took a while to get the answer that I was trying to avoid... a custom manny.

The equal length and the look were interesting to me. but i think ill stick with the megan manny and 10.5 turbo til im ready for something a bit bigger and more serious.
Thanks mwbmw
