who in their right mind would run a 42R let alone a 45R? Unless it is a fully trailered drag car that has absolutely no use as a real EVO.

your buddy should work on maxing out his 42r before he goes bigger, and unless he is ams, buschur, or paul (or about three other people) he is not maxing it out

exactly... people want to jump right away to "bigger and better" but they forget that they have to put all that power down and then some. Try working on maximizing your setup before upgrading. What power level is he at now?

I think people started to use 42rs with 45 internals.

45 is way to big unless people start playing with housings, blades, etc etc

Whatever the case might be it won't work on a street car unless its owned by a dedicated street racer.

I don't know if anyone makes such a big turbo for the EVO, but that would be insane man. I think even that EVO here in FL had 42r.

you can actually get the internals form the 45 to fit into the 42 chassis if you have machine work done!

actually you can go upto the GT47 internals in there to! not sure if that needs to be a T6 housing though.

Chris.

HAHA you should see what some of the guys over here are runing! GT42 actually makes a nice road race setup on a 2.3-4ltr stroker.

Norris design, RCDevelopments and Mosses (mosses s on here) all have similar setups and are making GREAT power on both pumps and race fuel (800pump and 1000 race). RC and ND both raod race their cars and are VERY fast.

its not the best strret setup by any means though.

Chris.
