rev limit (help)

hey guyz ...i just installed my new jam 2.3 short block and jam stage 3 cilender head along wid full race gt3582 r turbo kit .
wat i dun under stand is that jam has told me not to go past 7600 ..y is that so ?
and ive heard from many people reving till 8500 all day on the same engine .
plz tell me wat do u guyz say ... can i run 8200 rpm easily or not ?
i know jam is letting me stay on the safer side but still i need more power .

Of course you can rev higher... but I would just go with what Jam tells you... They built the motor.. and on some strokers you should only go so high... If you wanted to have a high reving evo, you should have went with a built 2.0... You see other people going past what Jam probably told them because they "feel" that the car can "handle" those revs... That's like a stock block evo with bolt ons and a tune reving to 8k+... people just do it... They are willing to face the consequences if something breaks.. In this case.. I would seriously just listen to Jam.. A 2.3L sees full spool usually 500-700/800rpms sooner so you don't need to rev as high...

Haseeb, As we explained, you will need to tune for performance and see if you are still making power at the higher rev's. If you lose power or it stops pulling why rev your engine for nothing, We have 2.3 builds pushing well over 8200 rpms but they were still making power. Enjoy!

first of all, at least type like i do, otherwise type with real words.
second of all, did you not know that with bigger engines comes lower revs? (to be safe that is.)
