Ported manifold and 02 housingPorted manifold and 02 housing question..

I’m installing a downpipe, high flow cat, cat back, lower intercooler pipe, and fuel pump.

I already have an upper intercooler pipe and mbc.

I’ll be getting another tune after this round of mods.

My question is: in your opinion, would it be worth the added time to install the ported exhaust manifold and 02 housing i have? In other words, how much longer will it make my install these two parts and what kinds of gains should I expect to see?

I am trying to find out if it’s going to take an extra 5 hours and only yield 3 or 4 hp and if the next set of mods will make me do replace these parts anyway.

Sorry for the rushed post.

it'll add another couple hours to your install but it'll be worth the gains.

The combination of the two is worth 20-25whp, a nice jump in torque... Maybe even more depending how aggresive you'd like to get.

If you're looking to do an exchange on a ported manifold please PM me for details.

Cheers!

I finally got a chance to do some searching and it seems like exchanging these two parts is a big pain... And i haven't found any definitive numbers on hp gains.

I'm pretty sure i'd be looking at about 10whp at most considering the other basic mods my car has.

tkklemann, any links to some helpful threads? I found a handful of threads that ask similar questions w/o much helpful info.

It does not take anywhere near 5 hours to install an 02 housing and an exhaust manifold. They are definitley worth putting on.
