its a Greddy bov, 3x times as big in size as the stock bov, and its vented to atmosphere. its loud as heck, and like i said, its "hyper-active". blowin off every 3seconds, non stop

 

the bigger problem with the BOV is that at high speeds on the highway, when I'm constantly at like 3000-4000 rpm (in 5th or 6th), the BOV is blowin off every few seconds, and the whole car shakes and rattles, i guess from the constant on and off boost surge.... There is no smooth driving with this damn huge BOV...

I'd strongly suggest finding an Evo-specific shop in your area and having them look at your car. Forum advice can only stretch so far. There's no substitute for a 2-way discussion. A good shop will be able to put the car to your liking with little fuss. Perhaps someone on a regional forum will be able to point you to such a place. Good luck.

well its not just me giving gas and letting off... just normal cruising on highway, if i'm doing a steady 65-75mph, it keeps blowin off every few seconds as well. thats why i gotta get the stock bov and the stock airbox, as someone suggested

 

you should get a JDM MR BOV.
