Transmission Fluid Mystery

Who can tell me what's up?
When the car is cold, the transmission reservoir (in photo) is full to the top, but as the car warms up, the level of fluid goes down significantly. perhaps this is normal, such as the case with automatic trannys... however, how do I know how much to fill in the reservoir? do I check when the car is cold, or hot ???

That is the acd fluid it goes down if the car is doing alot of cornering. When at the dragon I could hear the thing work with the windows down. I thought something might be up with my car but it is normal.

Its the size of the exhaust housing on the turbo. The EVO 9 Turbo comes stock with the 10.5 exhaust housing.

but still none of you answered my query...

the ACD fluid, do I check it when cold or when hot? because when the car heats up, the whole reservoir empties out, and the bucket is practically empty, yet when the car is off and cools down, all the fluid is back, and even beyond the "max" level.

Your manual should tell you how to check the fluid level. I believe cold is correct, but I'm not certain. I've honestly never looked in to it, but you generally check fluid levels with the car cold.

btw, the BOV only looks nice, in reality it does more harm then good.
its hyperactive to the point that it releases every 2 seconds, and its loud as heck. normally this would be a good thing, but this is way too much

You're fine. That mean your ACD is working.
