Some good points here. If you're not going to run a 2.3 or built 2.0, then why run a gt30r on pump? Your engine will be hard pressed to flow enough air to hit the turbo's efficiency range.

You can easily manage to push 24 psi or more on the turbo with a very good tuner at the controlls. I have seen on Buschur's mustang dyno a very large gain in power going from 23psi to 25-26psi. In the form of a gain of 40whp. making 380whp @ 23 psi to putting down 420whp @ 25-26 psi. All on the same map my pump gas 93 octane map. Its obvious that getting this turbo at or above 25psi is where it likes to be.

So the reality of it is be willing to help get the turbo where it wants to be 23-24 on pump is easily done. But it will really start to get down at 25 plus , so a little bit of 100 octane at the least and you can get a decent tune on it for around 26-27 psi and get her into its efficiency range

Then there is alway some C16 to get down with , push the turbo even further and I am sure there would be much to gain yet.

I have ran 11.1's 124-125 mph @ 26-27 psi on 100 octane , with some novice tuning done bye me on top of my Buschur pump tune. I would venture to say that I could have gotten into the 10's if I would have made another trip to Buschur Racing to let Dave do some real majic with some C16

^ yeah, but that's using a standalone, not the stock ECU.

This will basically lead into another dyno war ! The 420whp is on Buschur's mustang dyno , The same power would be a bit higher on a dyno jet I wouldnt be suprised if it would put down 450whp on a dyno jet on the same tune same psi

ya i woudl loved to be tuned by david at buschur but its to far away from where i live its liek 16 hrs lol

so i would have ot be tuned aroudn here at ESP they have a mustang dyno so i think i shoudl see at least 420 430 out of it as long as i run 11.4 lol or atleast run to afst to where i kicked off the track ill be very happy in my car lol

look you need to sell me your turbo, or trade me for my stock ix set up with some meth if you only want 11's. Reach for tens man whats wrong with you. If i had that set up 11.4 or higher would be a disappointment. Run that biaotch like its made to be run.

I think 11.4 will be tough on pump gas at NED. its not a particular fast track.
if you get some seat time with that setup I think its doable, but not out of the box.
I believe 11.4 @120-124 is going to take about the max that turbo will do on pump.
ps I look in my signature for tuning info soon
If you want consistant low 11's I would go with a mix of some race gas. Then its a done deal with some decent driving
