here si the thing tho i have a hks ebc and ill be using the stock ecu could the tuners use the ebc to do a 93 mapa nd a race map i have two settign the the ebc A Setting and B settign each cna change boost so i woudl assuem they can do it ont hat can they not?

 

I just think it will be safer and more realistic with a little race gas, like I said I think you are going to be right there, but it will also depend on driving too. I have seen 35r's on race gas run 11.4 and I have seen stock turbo IX on 100 octane run 11.4

if its only once a month then it doesnt hurt to throw a little race gas in the mix.
on my 3065 I made just about enough power to run 11.4 with a 93-94 octane.

 

400 + is doable.
93 octane out here is much better than the west coast 91. I have seen it first hand how much of a difference there is.

 

ya ill have them maybe do a 93 map and a race map but not str8 race maybe with a 1/4 of 93 in then fill it to half way with the race

but the ? i ahve is coudl they do that with the hks ebc coudl i siwtch back and forth thru the maps or woudl i need a whoel other switch to do it?

 

the ebc is just a boost controller isn it???

you could have them do a general tune good for 93 pump say 22psi and 93/104 mix at 26psi but thats not going to optimized tune since its a general tune where you just bump the boost.

 

see thats the thing id o have a laptop but it smy sisters the thing is i ahve no ecu programs on i to even swapp over maps

so im thinking they can cusotm make a switch some where

cuz my freind has a audi s4 and to sewitch maps he holds done the cruise control button and wen it blinks 3 times that measn its on race map

so im thinking they can do somethign liek that wiht certain buttons on cars

I heard somewhere that ecuflash is coming out with a way to switch between two fuel maps by way of the intercooler sprayer switch. Not 100% sure if that's accurate but if it is, it might save you some money.

i hope someone told me accesport is a way to do it has anyone used it for this or for tuning and how good is it?
