Where is everyone getting there 12v switched power for Wideband?
Ive read the radio is to noisy, and ive read the cig lighter is a good one. Any other opinions?
I've got a number of things powered inside my car in addition to a wideband, so I ran a fused 10 gauge wire straight from the battery into the car and then used a relay triggered by an ignition-on power source (the lighter circuit) to keep it from drawing the battery down when the car is off.
some one suggested the power window lead when I did mine. pretty easy to get to, big yellow wire in the bundle on the front door hinge post.
its only idiosyncrasy is the power stays on after the key off for ten seconds or so. Or until you open the door.
I run most of my alterations through it.
