are you talking about the exhaust that's on the AMS evo8 race car?.. the reason i say this, is that the one on the AMS evo8 race car is different than the production one..

the one on AMS's evo8 is a pre-pre-pre-production exhaust... it has a different (smaller) muffler.. and it doesn't sound anything like the one that they sell..

fart can sound is far from it!!! lol

it's deep and mean sounding IMO..

check Diesel's video clip in the link i gave a couple posts up... or this one: http://www.renn-art.com/renn-art.com...evoexhaust.avi

Yea that is much better than the one I heard! So does this system replace the cat as well or what? The EVO exhausts have me confused because what you guys refer to as a catback in some situations is not what a domestic owner would refer to as a catback.

i dunno what the domestics mean by catback.. but when we say catback.. we mean replacing the exhaust piping from the catalytic converter back..

you might be confusing turboback and catback.. turboback is when you replace all exhaust piping all the way from the turbo (technically with evo's and dsm's a turboback should include O2 housing as well.. but many vendors cheat and call the O2 housing back exhausts turboback..) to the tip of the muffler..

.. hope i didn't confuse you anymore now.. lol

The RMR is definitely not a fart can. It is very deep sounding. I like it.

I like RMR and AMS. I sell them both and support their products . I have a couple of each coming within a week or so (maybe longer for RMR) but already ordered a few AMS catbacksthat are just waiting on some bends to come in this week !

Give Darryl from Ultimate Racing a shout. There's over a dozen satisified people on this board running their exhaust system including myself

Hi,

Just got my Fujitsubo Legalis type R catback exhaust. It sounds like stock one, even quieter than stock one on some rpm ! you can check out http://www.fujitsubo.co.jp and click on Product info and then click Legalis R and find the parts number:790-32051 and click on that part number and you will see all the info about that exhaust like hp and sound file, weight and so on ! If you want something quiet, this the exhaust for you !!

I think it worth to me, because I want a quiet exhaust with some performance gain. $1000 ship from Japan (take one week to get it after I order from Japan.)

seems kinda steep, but that's the price you pay for shipping from Japan...

Has anyone here ever heard a 4g63 that sounded like a "weedeatter"?

I think you've misstaken your low compression boosted motor with a high comp. honda raspy rice bucket.

You can run a open Dpipe and it still wont sound like a ricer bucket. When you go WOT people may mistake your car for a jet engine though.
