Should I be disappointed DYNO GT30R
Before you had your VSR on your car and headwork done what was peak tq, at what RPM and at redline.
I know on my 30R on a 2.3 i dropped over 220ft lbs of tq I belive on c16, on the 2.0 and c16 it was over 150 ft lbs, wit a 440 ft lbs peak and finishing below 300 ft lbs at 8k.

Scorke
1.) stock head (bad valves), stock intake, 50 trim, 21psi spoolup climbing to 22psi at 7000 RPM:
281 wtq @ 4500 RPM
180 wtq @ 8500 RPM
349 whp @ 7000 RPM
2.) stock head (bad valves), AMS VSR/65mm TB, 50 trim, 21psi spoolup climbing to 22psi at 7000 RPM:
289 wtq @ 4500 and 7000 RPM
210 wtq @ 8500 RPM
385 whp @ 7000 RPM
3.) ported head, AMS VSR/65mm TB, 50 trim, 21psi spoolup climbing to 22psi at 7000 RPM:
310 wtq @ 6900 RPM (290 wtq @ 4800 RPM)
222 wtq @ 8500 RPM
409 whp @ 7000-7200 RPM
4.) Just for grins, my Evo VIII with basic bolt-ons, 9.8HS, 23psi spoolup dropping to 18psi at 7000 RPM:
286 wtq @ 4800 RPM (280 wtq @ 3600 RPM)
180 wtq @ 7500 RPM
296 whp @ 6500 RPM
Some things to note: with the stock ECU and the build 2.0L, I cannot start a dyno pull at low rpm, since the ECU pulls timing due to "knock" generated by the missing balance shafts and noisier components. I'm working on using the ECU to control boost again, so that I can run 23psi on spoolup and keep it flat or taper to 22 psi by 8500 RPM. I also suspect that I can run more timing past 7200 RPM, but I haven't looked at that yet, since I really need to see if I can eliminate the phantom knock first.
--------------------------------------------------------
To get back on-topic, though. I agree with John, that stock cams are going to hurt topend, but it's not as bad on an IX as on a VIII. Mismatched housings on the turbo will also have a big effect.
IMO, even assuming that there was a boost leak, and that the rest of the car certainly wasn't optimized for the turbo, the tuner should have still either tested for boost leaks, or been a little bit more specific about why he couldn't make any more power with the car at hand.

I freaking hate comparing dynos to dynos but this should give you a rough comparison
Our settings are weight: 3500 / HP@50 : 15.1
Here is a Evo 9 with a RNR GT3076 that was on our dyno recently. Decent comparison as he is also still on stock cams.
Mods:
RNR GT3076 turbo kit (ramhorn manifold)
3" turboback
Test pipe
RC 750cc injectors
Open Air Filter
Walbro Fuel pump
FMIC
IC pipes
Hallman MBC
Sun Auto Blue Hyper Box
Stock Cams
Stock Clutch
Stock BOV
Stock MAF
OEM ECU
Snow Meth injection kit
91 octane + Meth 80/20 mix
25psi peak
11.1 AFR straight across

I really wanna pull out my hair!! But if u look at my friends dyno its almost identical
and he has the same setup only a samller conp housing,,,60/63,,
To cars making same power,,,same conditions,,,,weird,,,

Do you know what dyno settings where used? If it was setup normally I feel those are low numbers for C16 @ 28.9psi.

Bryan,
The settings on the dyno were 3500lbs and 14.1.
This was the best I could get out of this configuration. Adding more boost didn't produce any more power (pushing hot air), and adding more timing in the short advance window (due to lag) would induce knock.
I tend to agree with the previous poster who said that the FPGreen provides similar power without any of the lag. Having owned a 3076 kit on an Evo as well as the FPGreen, I can attest to this from experience.
The only 3076 kit that I've seen that spools fairly quickly is the AMS kit. There may be others, but I haven't yet had the pleasure of tuning them.
Anthony, I'm sorry if you're not happy with the numbers. I do hope you feel like you received an honest and thoughtful tuning service. If there was more power or quicker spool to be had from this setup, I think we would have found it.
Feel free to post the datalog that I've just emailed you, if you like.

First off, I really really really really want to make it a point that I was not saying the tune was lacking whatsoever. I know how each car can be. Each one makes different power. One doesn't apply the same to another. You learn this from having eleventy billion evos up on the dyno with your laptop hooked up to them as I am sure someone like yourself knows.
I still think it's a little lacking as far as power, but that could be the turbo kit, or something going on with this car.

I'm happy with my zero knock!! But I was hoping for more power that's why I said tune on C16 gas!!! if I know it was going to make that power I would have tuned it on 100 octane,,.
I might just go diff turbo route...........Ijust thoyght the gt30r would make the power!!! At least on C16,,,,,,,,
