No I am not making/designing my own intake. I have no desire to do that. There are a few others guys making intakes though that want me to test them. I am willing to try anything that might make more power than what I am running at any time.

I am re-testing the Driven Innovations intake and the Kansai intake both with 3" throttle bodies to see how they perform.

Are gonna test it with 2.5 UICP or 3inch? (I assume)

Ron (Shearer) designed a manifold years ago. It didn't go into production.

evovin, the 2.5" vs 3" upper i/c pipe testing has already been done.

Dave, so where are the pics? I’m also curious of the results!

Quick question Dave; how much of a factor do you think the weight of the Bad Bish plays in it's reliability. 700 less lbs the engine has to power around no doubt improves the reliability. Do you think you would be able to have a full weight car have the same results?

I bet it will be too. Ours is back on after I've pulled everything apart for a quick checkup. I can't wait to put it to good use. I even polished up the DI emblem a little bit.

U2slo's car is without a doubt faster and more reliable because it is lighter. The results of the actual WHP could be the same with a full weight car but the overall performance isn't going to be the same with a heavier car.

9sec9, is your emblem welded on or glued? Mine fell off when we welded the end plate on it.

Whichever is better! It's welded. I put it very quickly on the buffer just to make the DI stand out a little bit better. Now, since I've had the engine opened up, I'll change the oil and filter again after firing it up. Can't wait to get it back to my CLOSED CIRCUIT COURSE. Have to wait for the corner workers to wave me on to the course.

Wait a minute. End plate, what's this? AM I MISSING SOMETHING. I want it and I don't even know what it does, but I want it too. Did I get shortchanged again. Tom, I want one just like Daves! I could have guessed that mine was going to be different.

Tom sent me the intake without the TB end welded on. I had to drill it for the 3" Hypertune throttle body and I also put an IAC fitting on the end of it. Then we welded it on.
