DO these UK cars have any time slips, or just pretend dyno numbers????

600whp is awesome, but if your car barely breaks out of the 12's... is it really making that kind of power?

BR cars have time slips... well most of them do.... I think peter needs some pump gas time slips,,,, it would be a great way to shut up the haters!!

 

I'm very sorry if my posts in the thread came across as hateful. If you look at the 1000 posts I've made since 2002 I think you'll find they are not like that. I just watched the videos of Al comparing Buschur to the Wright brothers in terms of pump gas power and ultimately all I wanted to do was say hey, lot's of guys in the UK make good power on pump, this is not a revolution.

In many posts I've said I think U2SLO's is probably the fastest GT35R customer car out there right now. So lot's of respect to that. But running 30+ pounds and making well over 600 _engine_ power on a 93 equivalet type fuel is not a breakthrough. That's all I meant to convey, take it for what it is.

4G63DSM, it's pretty infrequent they go to the drag strip in the UK, and on top of that, it's extremely rare anyone would put on a drag radial much less a full slick. So looking at their track times would not be good evaluation, but I think you can trust the power output given from an Superflow engine dyno, no?

 

Earlier Buschur told all the tuners wondering or asking or spreading rumors about U2SLO's car having trouble, "to go take tuning classes douchebags" (paraphrased)... I jumped in and threw it back at Buschur. I have a ton of respect for Buschur and other enthusiasts, but at the same time I just hate to see such anger thrown out at people so I replied. In retrospect I guess I picked the wrong instance because I can see why Buschur would be mad at these people.

I'm just trying to show my train of thought so I don't get all of EvoM against me.

Anyway enough about me and the UK cars. I've made the same damn point a million times. U2SLO, I'd pick your car in a drag race against any GT35R car. Would be crazy not too.

 

it's simple stop bringing up the UK in your posts and everyone will get along just fine it's comes out offensive they way you're wording things.

just my observation... but if someone goes on MLR and boasts about the US doing this and that better they'd get the same reaction from the UK guys.

 

sure.. engine dynos are sweet,.... if you are doing research... but I like to drive... don't you?? THe engine needs to be in the car to do that...

I don't hate the UK... the show TOPGEAR is fricken rad...

if someone from the UK comes here and wants to compare then thats great. but this isnt a pissing contest with you bringing up every UK car to try to beat every US car.

speak from your own car, or knowledge you've gained from where ever you got it... and try not to always be so negative, or shoot down people, people usually come to forums, to learn, or to help teach. we dont need people coming here to bash or cause conflict.

lets keep the interests the same , and we all can learn and improve, and some of us can teach, or give advice from personal experience. make sense? have a nice day.
