Another new PUMP gas record, thanks Driven Innovations
From Marc with the blue S4:
"I have nothing but respect for bad bish and Buschur Racing. Please do not listen to what anyone except me says. That Evo is in a whole 'nother league and my low-buck, stock motor, bolt-on S4 has nothing for it right now."

"If I'm an idiot, then what do you call the guys who dump $20K+ into their S4s and then take a bath when they go to sell them?
My approach is simple: be as fast, consistent, and reliable as possible while spending as little money as possible. Currently, I have $9800 into my blue S4 including the cost of the car. At this point, the car is practically disposable: I could part the car out tomorrow and either break even or make money on the whole thing. How many 10 second cars do you know of that somebody can actually make money on when they get rid of it?
S4s these days can be bought for as little as $5K or less with high miles and/or salvage titles. So how is it much different than all the guys who buy Mustangs, Civics, DSMs, etc. and gut them out? Why am I an idiot and they're not? I believe you're just going by the same old stereotype where people believe an Audi S4 is an expensive luxury car when in reality it's now a cheap 8+ year old luxury car. Since the car itself is cheap, it's turbo and AWD, and the parts that are removed for weight reduction can fetch a pretty penny, it's actually the perfect candidate for a low-buck street/strip project car.
For anyone that doubts that you can get an S4 for $5K or less these days, I'd like to point out that I just recently picked up a 2000 A6 2.7T 6spd for $3250. That's actually a car that stickered for more than the S4 back in 2000. All it needed was a tune up and a little TLC. I did that, along with put one of my own flashes in the car and a MBC and ran 12.80@105 on 93 octane. That's full weight and a bone stock motor/tranny with 150K miles. Here's the video: http://www.titsup-racing.com/video/a6/a6_12_8.wmv I have $3330 total into it, including the cost of the car, and am trying to get it into the 11's for under $6K total."
From Marc with the blue S4:
"Yeah, the entire car is held together with zip ties and duct tape. That's what makes it so enjoyable when it beats cars with built motors, huge turbos, nitrous, etc. on the street for thousands of dollars."

"My full interior silver S4 actually put down 476whp today on a Dyno Dynamics machine on 93 octane and 508whp on race gas. Not too bad for a car with only 4 bolt ons."
Street racing, admittedly fun, IS F**CKING RETARDED!!!!
TAKE IT TO A TRACK!!!
you won't think you are so cool, when you t-bone a minivan full of little kids...
grow up! real racers go to a track.... drag strip or road couse... only posers race on the street....

no where near the level of the bad bish.
Funny things is, Marc has gotten beat up for talkin trash with that gutted S4
priceless
Yeah, it is a sh!tbox. But that is all part of the fun when you beat people in a car that's held together with cables ties and duct tape.
Agreed. You're comparing a $50K shop built Evo to a $10K junker S4 that I put together in my 1 car garage. The S4 is about as stock as stock can get: stock motor, stock displacement, stock compression, stock heads, stock cams, stock exhaust manifolds, stock ignition, stock engine management, no nitrous, no motor swaps, etc. All it has is weight reduction and a couple bolt ons. Big whoopty doo.
Funny thing is you don't know what you're talking about.

That S4 has betten up some 7-800whp cars on the street and it proved it quite a few times! Racing on a street and racing on the track are 2 completly different things! To many people bring a knife to a gun fight
. Also it dont matter what he did to the car and how much he spent obviously he did something right to be this quick. Now Bad Bish with some tires will take out some 1000whp cars easly on a street! Street racing is bad take it to the track!

Was this a pump gas thread about DI intakes and Peter's car? haha
Driven Innovations, wait until you see what I did to your intake manifold
It's on my RS now, ready for a dyno pull or two on Monday.
