Evo8 20g

I have the opportunity to buy a Garrett 20G for my EVO9 pretty cheap. Will this turbo make the same power as a EVO9 20G? I can see the housing is smaller but the internals are what's important, correct?

I would stay away from the Evo8 20G. You will get nasty compressor surge and boost creep. Do a search on it.

I figured I'd install it since I'm getting it for so cheap. That would give me the opportunity to send my stocker to FP or Buscher to get tricked out. Therefore no down time on my end.

Might be worth it to keep car drivable as you wait if it's free.
