Intake hard pipe question

i've been running pretty good with my buschur intake (the white filter w/ polished end) but still have the stock intake piping. im at about 23 psi boost and dynoed about 345whp and 325 lbs torque.... if Dave Buschur or anyone else can chime in if its worth it for me to get the hard pipe. gains may be negligible since i already have a cone filter.

most people say its not worth it to change stock intake piping. You are fine with the cone filter good choice. You should wait until you get a larger turbo 50 trim or gt35r. Then you can change the stock intake piping.

The "accordion" pipe that comes stock tuners say it causes turbulence in the turbo which makes the turbo less efficient, So I have heard.

If you are interested in a hard pipe, I have this on my car:

that was the 2nd mod I ever made on my car (back before I knew better then to throw an intake on without a tune) I have the BR full intake kit, and honestly I'm very happy with it

The dejon tool intake pipe works well with the stock box or aftermarket filter.

I had it with my stock airbox until i sold it to my friend when I got the HKS RS. It worked well for the time I had it and my friend made good power with the stock airbox with it.

The Samco is great, easy fitment, flexible etc, but it also collapses slightly under WOT. We watched mine on the dyno. My tuner recommended changing to a hard pipe, so I tried the Dejon one in combination with my HKS filter(same one I use with the Samco). Car ran like absolute crap. Part throttle, low speed surging/bucking. Highway cruising surging etc. Idle hunting etc. Yesterday I swapped the Samco back in and it runs like normal now.

My tuner says that he sees the best results on the longer intake pipes and also the "S" shaped ones. He likes AEM. I noticed the Samco is several inches longer than the Dejon.
So anyone have any ideas here on what the longest, metal intake pipes are? One thing I noted about the AEM that I like is that it has a curved rubber hose that connects to the turbo, rather than the straight one that Dejon uses. Also instead of supplying the correct size coupler for the turbo inlet, Dejon uses one coupler and then a smaller one inside that....so that creates turbulence which I think caused my issues.
