I need help adjusting my greddy type s bov. I've tried the single spring mod but it only stopped the flutter under 13 psi. I'm getting frustrated because it always flutters after holding boost for more than 3 seconds or so with my foot still on the same throttle position. It also flutters when I try to accelerate on the freeway. I'm boosting 23 psi right now. I don't wanna sell the bov if I just have to adjust it properly. Right now the spring is set to 2 turns past initial contact. Did I set the spring too soft or too hard?

 

You should just put your stocker back on. That will fix all your problems............no adjusting necessary.

 

what are you using as a vacuum source?

 

the only reason i bought a new BOV was because once i install my meth kit and fp green i'll be boosting 28+ psi. i'm using the same vacuum source that was used on the stock BOV. i forgot to mention that when it flutters it drops psi. for example, if i'm trying to hold 15 psi for 2 seconds it'll flutter down to 10 psi and then rise back to 15 psi and then flutter down to 10 psi. if i cant fix this probelm i'm probably just gonna get the APS or Forge.
