Diaqueen from dealer for 5/spd $46

3Qts of redline around $10 I believe from summit racing......thank god it's right down the street

As another member said, like $7 for an oil pump at autozone

And $4 for 1/2in o.d.--3/8 i.d. hose from home depot

I used all for jackstands and used a level just to make sure the car was even all around.

Took me about 2 hours with all of the snow that was falling on me...... lol

Just talk to RussellM. He's the internet sales manager there and I've been using him as my contact. He'll get back to you pretty quickly. As a side note though, if you plan on doing your own belts, make sure you buy the right tools to do it - e.g. Mitsu tensioners and what not.

I changed all of my diff, acd, and tranny fluids for the first time at 33k. I was surprised that even after 200 drag passes, auto-x, and lots of mountain runs all of the fluids looked good as new. Car didn't feel bad before the change but it definitely felt much better afterwards.

mt,rear axle,transfercase fluid
engine oil, filter
*adjust valve clearance [ if noisy]
+ all the inspect items @ 3.1hrs

I am never selling my EVO but had a customer who did, and when he went to sell it carfax reported the mileage interval services have never been done because the guy did all his own stuff from day one.

So just word of advice if you’re ever going to sell your car take it into the dealer for the service intervals listed in the manual or take it to a shop that reports to carfax. Also the dealer can not void your warranty on services, just warranty claims. It’s your right say no to the Mitsubishi 30point inspection, that’s where they are allowed by law to inventory what you have done visually.

I received a free oil change and 27 point inspection card in the mail.
Please explain the 27/30 point inspection.
Should I use the card?

It's most likely an inspection that is just a visual check of exhaust, fuel lines, brake pads, suspension components, ect... At least that's how it works at our dealership. It is not a replacement for a 30k service.

I only DD my Evo and the tc oil was very cloudy with metal particles at 15K. I'm thinking about changing the TC every 6K mi.
