30K Service

Just completed changing, trans fluid with redline MT-90, transfer case and rear diff with oem Diaqueen. Man, do I feel a difference, it's like the car is running smooth as can be now. My question is when everyone else has done their first big fluid change, have you noticed a big difference?, like it's new again!!!!

I too just did mine, but I paid the 86 dollars for the Diaqueen tranny fluid. My 4th gear synchro was grinding and now its like its hardly there. Tranny shifts soooo smooth!

Redline in the tranny made a huge difference for me at 15k,I tried amsoil and mobil1 prior and did not like either.Noticed nothing in tc case and rear diff but stayed with diaqueen

Had my 30k a couple of months ago. Car drove great before and after. Tech said my car was still driving very strong. Had it done by a certified shop to keep my lifetime warranty intact.

I just did my 30K service at 25K and did not notice a difference. I went with the 6-speed Super Diaqueen in my 5-speed...used stock fluids in the transfer case and rear diff. I even used Mitsu coolant, damn $21 for a gallon...bastards. I also changed the air filter element. I did NOT change the accessory belt as some have said because it looked fine, plus it looks like a pain the a$$ job anyway.

If its hard getting in certain gears its your tranny or tranny fluid. Change it out and see if it improves. I use Redline MT90 like the OP and love it.

I believe Mitsu charges around $500 for this service. How much did it cost DIY?
