so i havent checked the gap yet, but the car seems to run better than it did yesterday. theres occasional instances where the car feels a little low power though, with the rpm a little bit below one at idle and on stop lights. is this normal?

 

the idle at around 940-1000 is fine. You don't have cams and your idle shouldn't be affected by your current bolt on's. You need to go get your car tuned and make your 290-340 whp depending on your set up and car. i had a boost controller and turbo back exhaust with the stock turbo and ran consistant 12.90s. that was untuned so imagine what you could do.
