Yah I see that damn.... I would like hard evidence before I swap out the hks for the S2's. I am guessing I will have some nice gains going from these hks cams.

My bad comment. The gains the 50 whp gains WERE over the non-ported HKS 272's. I was thinking in terms of our before and after gains. However, the avg gains were 21 whp, with the JUN 272's showing substantially more over the ported HKS 272s as the rpms increased to 8000. The HKS's just didn't make the top end power. I haven't seen hard facts and comparisons like this for the S2's vs the HKS or the JUN's. No one it seems is doing a comparison. It would be nice to that comparison. I'm willing to be that the S2's and JUN's would be very close.

This might get you started. From there, at least you should be able to locate the duration/lift specs.

I've either got it somewhere, or I've seen it online at one of their websites. I know they have a lot of technical data online somewhere. It seems I had to 'mouse' my way to it one day, but I can't remember where I found it. I'll look in my printouts. It may have been in their catalog.

I just don't know if it is worth it for 20WHP.... over the HKS 272's. Then again I am running a 35R so I need a cam that works in that range where the HKS 272's fall off...

It's much more than 20 whp, the average gain to 7000 was 21. Above 7000 the gap continues to grow. If you're drag racing, the gains are directly in the rpm range of each gear. Only you can determine if it's financially worth it. Performance-wise, it's worth it.

I wish someone would do a test of S2's over Jun 272's and BR 272's on a Dyno...
