Hi. I did get a FP Green with 10.5mm nose and the better actuator...
So What is a Good high boost level on this Turbo?

My setup has: Full blitz exhaust, and 272 cosworth , 1200 cc injectors ! besides...

I,m from Brazil, and here we have ethanol on fuel pump at regular gas station...
This is my fuel, usualy takes 20% more feed than gasoline, but also allow a bit more boost and power.

On the street tune, we run a high of 32 with that actuator and 101 +water/meth injection. The turbo really likes the 30psi and up range. Max boost would be based on fuel and tune, but ours runs best on a race tune of 37psi with Import race fuel. Hope that helps. The FP actuator holds boost better in the midrange, so watch your timing closely.

 

i have seen 30 pounds on pump on the street with no knock

 

I am impressed! Is this on a VIII or a IX? Seeing that you are experiencing no knock at 30 PSI, then, at what boost level do you actually start to see knock on pumpgas? Maybe you should tune my car for me.

I run 30.5 psi on C-16 with the stock actuator, this is my conservative race tune.

 

He is using ethanol fuel, needs bigger injectors to get enough juice

 

What would be the maximum boost psi for a FP RED Ball Bearing turbo?

I run 35-37psi making around 520hp

 

Thats with the green ball bearing?
