Evo 8 FP Green build

Hi guys,

I recently purchased an FP green turbo for my Evo 8 and was just wanting to get some advice and suggestions on the build. Car currently has 272 cams, intake, downpipe, exhaust, 255 fuel pump, ETS fmic and piping, boost controller, wideband O2, Evo 9 BOV and is tuned. Planning on adding an FP green turbo, ported intake manifold, O2 housing and bigger injectors. Was wondering what size injectors I should run. Would it be beneficial to go ahead and purchase 1000cc injectors for bigger build in the future? Also would I need to get a set of head studs? Let me know if you see anything else that would be needed. Thanks in advanced guys.

Sounds like a decent setup. 1000cc injectors or 1200cc will be more then enough especially if you decide to do meth. Head studs are always an insurance policy, anytime the boost is jacked up it's a good idea to do head studs.

750cc at a minimum. I bought a set of FIC 950s to use with that Green which is overkill for pump gas but now that I have a SC61, getting bigger injectors in the first place has already saved me a few hundred dollars.

Which 272 cams do you have in that motor exactly? Are there any gas stations selling E85 in your area? If you can get a hold of E85, then you may want to consider even larger injectors as well as a fuel pump upgrade.

i have similar mods to u running e85 on 1400cc injectors, fp green, hks 272, etc etc. get head studs and run it on e85 lol. ull get amazing power and relatively quick spoolup. it will not spool as quick as stock turbo but still quick.

I agree with all above but I guess the question is what kinda fuel are you gonna run? If your gonna run just pump and maybe meth I would go fic 850's and if your gonna run e85 I would go no less then fic 1250s.

+1 ^ I was going to get a 1050 FIC but my tuner advice to me get the 1250, since I might go with E85. Which I did 3 weeks later. After And I upgraded my fuel pump also, your going to love the power with E85. Plan out if your going E85. Nice set up you got.

Thanks for the input guys. Wish I could run E85 but unfortunatly its not readily available to me where I live, so I'll be on 93 pump gas. Probably will go ahead and go with the FIC 1050's, and hopefully can eventually get on E85.

Well if your eventually gonna go 1050s wont be enough injector. I mean I don't want to steer you the wrong way or nothing 1050s will be more then enough for reg fuel but if there is a chance you will go I would do the math and go 1250s or whenever your ready hate to spend money twice ya know.
