Future build input-FP green HTA

Hey guys,

I have a built 2.0 l block, gsc s2 cams, arp head studs, ams licp, buschur street core 3.5" intercooler, shep tranny, a comp stage 3 clutch, 3" tbe, stock 9 bov, grimmspeed ebc, fic 1150 cc injectors, and a walbro 255. I'm currently tuned on mass air flow with 93 octane on a stock 9 turbo.

I want a quick spooling turbo for street driving and also want 500 whp without sacrificing spool, so I chose the fp green hta.

I will get a short route Uicp, tial bov, fp green hta, o2 housing , convert to SD, and have the car tuned on e85. Can I reach my 500 whp goal without any porting or change in fueling?I'd like to hear your opinions.

Thanks,
Ryan

The 73htz green will do that handily.

With that setup or will I need bigger injectors ? I kind of don't really feel like porting anything besides the turbo when I buy it. Just go full bolt on and get it SD tuned on e85. When can I expect to see full spool with mivec ?

You may want to upgrade to a walbro 450 and/or run a boost a pump at least. My 255 ran out at 430whp dynojet on the stock wiring. Its better to have your fuel system set up well before you go and get tuned so you don't spend the money twice IMO. On stock cams with a red@500 I ran ID1300's with a 450 and boost a pump for year and it worked well.

Sorry I forgot to mention the fuel pump was rewired by strictly modified, but I think it was only so the pump sees battery voltage all the time instead of seeing the 8v at idle . So I guess I will need a bigger pump . Any other input on this ?

You will need a walbro 450 and a dual voltage rewire.

You will need more than a 255 pump and I suggest 1450cc injectors so you're not running crazy IDC.

Do I really need the 450 and the rewire ? Can't just go with the 450? Also, is there anything besides fueling that will hold me back ?

The 450 at full time full voltage will require to upgrade the feed line, fuel pressure regulator, and return line to prevent over run at idle. So either do a dual voltage rewire (it's not that hard, there is a whole thread for it on here), or upgrade all the other stuff.
