Question FP54 Green Turbo Fueling Needs

Hi everyone!

Got my new FP 54 in and I was wondering what fueling would be adequate for the set up I'm planning on.
Attachment 326869

Details:
Stock Block
FP54 Green
Ported IM
S90 TB
Perrin Exhaust w/ Muse O2 Dump
Supertech single springs and retainers
Kelford 272s

Fueling things I already have
Walboro 255 - installed
Radium Fuel Rail w/ pulse dampener

Planned Fueling items:
Walboro 450?
FIC 1100cc - I had originally planned on using these injectors for E85 on the stock turbo but I'm wondering if I need something larger for the bigger turbo.

I also need a FPR since I'm not utilizing the stock fuel rail. Figured I would use the STM kit:

What're everyone's thoughts?

TIA

Walbro 450 with dual voltage rewire and the siphon drilled to 9/64's on the fuel pump housing. FIC 1650 Hi-Z injectors. You'll have plenty of fuel for 600whp with this setup.

It sucks those turbos don't come with the Aero nut on the compressor. They look cool...lol

You can probably request an aero nut because why wouldn't you?

That's what I was thinking about with the 450 rewire.

I'll look into the 1650cc injectors, this all just keeps making me consider a built block......

Aghhhh I know I really wanted one too, I'm not sure why they didn't include them. I'll see if they will send me one

I was running my FP54 with stock block, Aem 320 pump, ams rail and 1200cc injectors. Ran pretty good on 93 with this set up. Not really sure you need injectors much bigger than that. The Walboro 450 might be a more aproperiate Pump than I'm running. Not sure if it's needed though. I spun a rod bearing. (Insert sad face). Engine hopefully will get pulled early this week and block dropped off at machine shop.

He want to run E85. The 1650 hi-z's will give him good head room and excellent drive ability.

I know that...There's a ton of threads on here.. Do the research. Giant injectors does not mean giant power. It's better to be somewhat consecutive when it come to sizing. With that size turbo if he ran e85 and 1200 fic that's 80% duty cycle.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out whether or not it's worth it to run anything more than 93 Oct on the stock block with this turbo. I'm definitely going to be getting the 450 though.

What's your plans for the block at this point?

Yeah I was looking at the 1650s if I go e85, I've been talking with Tom from TSCOMPTUNED and he thought those would be best if running e85 as well.

No they won't be. This turbo could likely be pushed to 500whp+ on a stock block, and a kill mode 550ish on a built block. FIC's site says the 1650's will do 580whp at 90% duty cyclce with 43.5psi base pressure. Which line up with what I found on my car, which is that they were around 80% at 550whp...

You could easily outflow 1200cc injectors on E85 with this turbo.

I just tuned a HTA71 on E85 with 1200cc injectors. IDC was:

88% idc
7200 rpm
11.8 afr
26.2 psi

Maybe I am missing something here. I purchased 1120's on Black Friday assuming that it would be enough injector for a "green sized turbo" for 93/e85 tune this coming season. After seeing threads such as this I started to worry that they may not be enough.

But then I came across this thread where Tom made 455 hp on 700cc and a 255 walboro. That makes me think I'll be just fine

Tom actually reccomended ~1100's on the second page of this thread.

Yes I understand that,

700cc on a walboro 255 93oct......455hp

So your saying a walboro 450, and an additional 420cc of injector is not good enough for some more hp using e85?

Like I said right on over page 2 Tom reccomended ~1100's for e85

Correct me if I am wrong. I am trying to learn/figure this out.
