Hey guys I know there are hundreds of threads for afc settings on the US Evo. I've searched through them and I still can not find what i'm looking for, can someone please help who is familiar with this afc.

My car is stock except for a boost controller. as the car sits now I am running 11psi when the boost controller is off, and 19/20psi under race conditions with the proper fuel. I also have a setting running 16psi of boost when I want to toy around on the street with pump octane. Can someone give me baseline numbers that I can start tuning from for my application. What I mean is I know the car funs pig rich, so is there a percent that 95% of the cars can lean out and be fine with, then i'll fine tune from there. I've heard of people leaning the car out around 5% from 5000 - up. Also what are the high/low settings? Are they the same as the JDM Evo, high 65%, low 45%?

PLEASE!!!! Someone give me a baseline I can start with.... I'm looking to add an intake, exhaust, and BOV soon. What all needs to be done in the lower RPM's to stop the idle problem with open atmo. BOV???

 

not to be too far off topic but why are you dropping boost so low? The car stock runs at 19 PSI then tapers off.

 

becasue with an electronic boost controller like what i'm using, when boost is off the valve is open all the way. The factory wastegate is set to open at 11psi, and the stock boost solonoid is what raises the boost to 19/16.24 psi.


Please anyone...... I really need baseline figures...

 

can anyone help me calibrate this thing?..... It's installed and working but i need to set up the sensors...
