Will i pass smog with a turbo upgrade?

Ive seen people on the streets with street legal turbo upgrades, what turbo can i get for my car and still pass smog or can you even do this? right now i have an FMIC, IC pipes, intake, and catback exhaust and the IX bov. thanks guys

Get a 130 cell highflow cat and you will be good to go.

You may pass the emissions portion but you may fail the visual inspection in California with the intake and other bolt ons if the smog tech knows what to look for.

yeah im getting my piping powter coated black. so it doesnt look like i have anything but the filter.

if the smog ref checks it in detail it'll be tough. cali's always getting stricter with their emissions and their visual inspections

My suggestion is put the entire stock exhaust system on the car. Make sure the tune is good, you will be fine.

David, how about cams, I've been worry about the inspection that's why I haven't install cams yet. (with stock cat)

If the tune is good you will not have a problem.
