Clutch issue

Hey guys, I'm a little worried about my car at the moment. About three weeks ago I installed a fidanza 3.2 kevlar clutch, drove it gently for the recomended 700 miles, and then 300 more, just to be safe, Then did a few launches to see how it would react. the first launch was a thing of beauty, but performance degraded. even though I allowed the clutch to cool for about an hour between each.

I don't necessarily think the clutch itself is the issue, though. I noticed when I first installed the clutch that I've got about an inch of dead pedal that the weight of my foot easily pushes through before I feel the normal resistance of the clutch. Could this be a bad slave cylinder? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you happen to bleed your clutch after installation?

The car's been driving for a few weeks. I really don't think it's the bleed. I'm going to try again tomorrow though to be absolutely sure. Is it possible I'm having an issue with the slave cylinder either leaking internally or the pushrod being too long?
