Anyone have this clutch? I've had it in my car for about 5 months and when I first had it put in, the push rod wasn't adjusted right (didn't know this at the time) and I launched it a few times and the clutch wouldn't grab! I thought I blew it out the first time launching it. Turns out the push rod had to be adjusted. Got it adjusted and it launches fine now, but I think something happened to it. It makes this annoying squeaking sound everytime I roll out of first gear from a dead stop. Sounds like squeaky brakes. (definately the clutch though) Also, had higher rpms, it doesn't go into gear really smooth. No grinding or anything, it just seems to take more effort to put it in than the stock clutch did. Even when it goes into gear at the higher rpms (7k redline) it fine, I just remember the stock one going in more smoothly. Any help would be appreciated. I can't figure out why it squeaks. I heard some exdedy clutches having problems with the throw out bearings. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same problem. Mine doesn't really grab on a launch. Also makes the same noise.

 

I just got mine put in but havent gotten a chance to launch it yet. will give feedback when i do though. hope i dont have the same problems.

 

yea....im pretty darn late into this thread...hahaha...but im havin the same problem now...and i did a search before i decided to do a new post....so im gonna post here instead but anyways...im havin this sqealin noise as well, it seems to still grab alright, its got maybe 4-5000 miles on the clutch with the first maybe 3000 of the miles driven very gentle, and now with a few launches on it and harder drivin....i dont know...is the clutch near the end of its life?? O! and for some reason the first time i drive the car every day....it doesnt like to go in gear....any gear, i have to fight it around for alittle then finally "finese" it into reverse....so....any answers now that its almost a year since this thread was started??

 

I have the exact same symptoms. I have 15k on the hyper single now, but it still grabs like day one. I am not too worried because the symptoms have been there since the clutch was installed.

 

well....i hope our situations r really the same....cause i dont want to buy a new clutch yet.....
