i think its a great idea and im sure the product will be very well made and supported as it is buschur and dynoflash endorsing it. for those guys that want to get fast at the strip without the time consuming learning curve of the awd launch which can be costly aswell this will be a great product.
personally one of the things i enjoy must about building and racing cars is well learning to do it better. i think the product will take a little of that away but as always to each his own.good job to al and david for catering to all of their customers.

Keep in mind that this piece is specificly prohibited by the NHRA/NDRA rulebook if you have intentions of running it in that series. I'm not sure about BOTI or any other sanctioning bodies thoughh, it may fly there.

Peter I will say it again you are HARD CORE, you are willing to haul it out to the edge of the envelope and bring me back the data I need, like I said you are the Chuck Yeager of the Evo world. Thanks David Buschur, for taking the time to talk when other big companies would not give me the time of day, I hope we can work together on many projects in the future you have become a great friend. George, Big Al ,and all at ICS and DYNOFLASH, thanks for taking the time in your busy schedules to do such an clean install. without you guys this would have taken much longer to get to this point. I could have taken this somewhere else but with Peter's and David's recomendations I felt confident you were the guys. You had the faith thats why only you have the deal. just mount the blue knob elsewhere so no one see's it....i think they just put it there for visuals on how everything works together.
Will these come pre set to an average clutch release speed for launching so that we have an idea where to start dialing it in from. Just a thought that may help a little & save some clutch durring initial setup. Is there any idea of price & a time frame when it will be released?

..everyone avoids the price questions....i assumed that would be the case until testing is done and the product is produced....what kind of warranty will be provided if any....leaky hoses or fluids....bad cylinder

How does it only regulate your launch in first and then let the clutch work normally through the other gears?
I'm guessing it has a bypass and 1st gear switch but, it's hard to tell from the pic.

This part was built for U2SLO for his personal car as we have become good friends, he told me about the launching problems and potential driveline issues and we worked things out. It is because of him only that this will be available as he was the one willing to share it with the Evo world he could have kept it to himself. The initial purpose was to get a clean launch in any track condition but it evolved to a tuning aid. And yes it will be legal in its manualy controled state, with the AEM all bets are off. 9sec 240, and gsnt, this is not an AMS vs. Buschur and ICS/Big Al thing, like I said I built it for U2SOL for his own personal use. This thread should not be turned into a war of vendors. Those guys were there to speed up development and I think it can benefit everyone here as this was Pete's intension. Also before anyone has the idea of a knock off we have multiple version with many options.
