not normal, seems like something is unbalanced. I install my own clutch without any experience, I took my time and read everything I could before and everything came out perfect. I've read many people bringing their cars to the dealer to get a aftermarket clutch installed and 80% of the time the owner post here that something is wrong. My point do it yourself if you can't afford a good "evo" shop to do it. Or bring it to a shop that has experience with the evo in particular.

Do a search on me and read all my post about my clutch problem history. Also, don't assume or take anything for granted and your best bet is to find someone who extremely familiar with the EVO. Mitsubishi dealerships not being one of them. Good luck.

the break in period on my 3.2 took about 600 miles of mostly city driving. The chatter and or shaky feel went away then too. From there on out it was smooth for me. The kevlar material is "impregnating" to the flywheel and breaking in. Keep an eye out for that around this mile mark... hopefully they machined the flywheel evenly as well or it will not break in evenly... allot of factors but my 2 sense.
