20grockit, i just put a new intake manifold on, did your car run rough or anything when you turned the EGR off? also did you get a EVAP code at all? thanks for any help

well i got it entered and didnt get an error on start up so i think its good. now i just have to go flash this correct??

hey emperor i have one more quick question just outta curiosity. did you get a cel from cutting off your rear o2??

my car has been running rough due to my egr problem. once i get this flashed to the ecu hopefully itll fix my problem

ok big problem. the ecu flash opens up fine but i cant read from the ecu or write to the ecu now. i also cant see the mut table.

i wonder if this is universal to all the ECUs or to certain ones i tried it on mine and mine threw the code right away...anyone who knows for sure please chime in

i just did the cel fix for the egr and i have no lights anymore. sweeeeeeeeeet

BUT

can i now remove the egr setup from the car and still have no lights???

can we remove the ''is it called evap or hvac'' or whatever its called in the back of the car buy the fuel tank?? can we remove that and disable the cel light??

yes you can sorry i was at car trying to get some results but no luck still. Anyway if you do it right you shouldnt get any lights for anything.

I disabled my rear o2, egr, and evap. All with no problems. I use scan tech also and the rear o2 comes up N/A which means you'll still pass emissions. And the egr and evap are disabled in it but i believe with them disabled that causes a problem for emissions for some.

And yes once you patch your rom go to ecu flash enter in what you want shut off in the right perephery and then flash it to your car.

yea i need to pass emissions. so the egr disabled wont pass and the car will fail for emissions?
