Slow replies are to be expected. The vast majority of these companies 1. can't afford to hire large staffs and 2. race their cars and attend events that pull them from the office. Such is life.
Sad but true. We actually have 2-3 phone staff available during all business hours, so we pretty much always answer our phone. But I've found that we're not normal in that way.

I tell you - after actually hanging out in these shops and hearing all the stupid questions they get all day from idiots who will ask them questions to death and then go buy the propduct for 3.00 less on the internet - its not an easy occupation
Ha! Also sad but true! Still, we love it.

Al's comments on the N-Tercooler are pretty much right. We have heard from others that it can add nearly 50 hp, but that the gas doesn't last long. It can reduce the temps that much because it sprays LIQUID -- not gaseous -- N20 or CO2 directly on the i/c core. That liquid soaks up a huge amount of heat as it evaporates.

We have a kit here in the shop that will be going on our own Evo in the next week or two. I'll be dyno-testing it, and will publish the charts.

In response to the AMS IC. Does it require the removal of the front bumper to install? Or is this something that can be done with the removal of the undertray?

The installation of our FMIC requires the removal of the front bumper, along with permanent removal of the small undertray piece.

would the co2 spray kit void my warrenty. I wouldn't think so because it is blowing on the outside. Anyone know mitsu's stance on this. How could I explain it to my service dept to find out if it would be ok.

There's no simple answer to this. Here's a little write-up I did about warranty law.

The intercooler Dropzone looks like it is an awsome kit, but where would you go to fill the bottle with co2?

A No2 spray couln't possible void a warranty. Just think of instant winter, for you norther guys JUST WAIT until winter comes around, you car will pick up 20WHP, easy.

*** for the N-Tercooler, I think it was Sport Compact Car's project VR4 where thy put on a NX Kit, gained 30WHP and also cause the boost to raise a psi, so it WORKS but is temporary.

AS for a voided warranty, no way, but if you were to run it INTO your motor, it defenately would.

I also agree with him these kits cause the air to become much more dense therfore more air means you need more fuel.

As for an intercooler - the AMS intercooler is a very good soultion - it fits with the stock a/c fan and the stock power steering cooler - its certainly much better than the stock one - for those on a budget - its a good idea

However - IF I lived in Florida - I would consider the Pruven intercooler as it is very HUGE - so huge it requires the optional a/c fan thin fan kit and the power steering cooler upgrade - which also would help in florida the Pruven intercooler is the biggest at 1050 cubic inches - over twice the capacity of the stock core and the Pruven set up uses the SPERCO core which is the best in the business

Finally - the 48-50 hp claim on the nos sprayer on the fmic is dyno proven and verifed by myself at great expense $40.00 per pass in nos!! I did 4 passes - all the same gain - again - with the pruven intercooler - not very practical for regular use - but its good for a grudge match against some buddy you want to kill !

Pesto - 360 - if your interetsed in any pruven products email or PM me your phone number and I will get you in tocuh with dan the owner - - - they are very hard to reach as they are a very - VERY - busy shop that mostly does custom fabrication and engine build ups - they dont have any staff that just answers the phone

However - for an easier way to purchase the Pruven product line - www.vividracing.com sells the entire range of Pruven parts

Finally - you should check out their cnc machine fuel pressure rail regulator and adaper kit - its a real work of art
Alfriedesq, what ever ended up with your turbo header for your stock turbo? i dunno if you were able to use it for the 3037, but if not, and you still have it on hand, would i be able to buy it off you?
