Just want to make sure I have mine installed right.
Thanks !!

Okay I figuered it out. You use pin#58 for Tach signal and pin# 84 for throttle signal. (do not use pin#86 for tach signal)

I thought FUN 6 was Speed and Throttle, and FUN 5 was RPM and Throttle

It specifies that so the psi doesn't fluctuate to much. It could become difficult to tune with it bouncing all around. When I set my map up I looked at where the boost started to fall off, from there, to my set redline I just spaced out the rpms evenly. 2-300 seems okay.

We got it to peak 26psi and hold pretty good. By redline it dropped to 24psi. Stock turbo can only do so much.

exhaust manifold is ported and o2 is an ebay/megan. but im happy with my setup for now. we did 28 pulls on the dyno. a third of those were to tune the EVC 6.

I suppose you could use the speed function, I think it's 6, to simulate the boost by gear.

Will I have to reprogram my EVC6 if the battery was disconnected? I am deployed and found out my relatives diconnected the battery and would only connect it when they started it up.

No, you will not have to reprogram. It still saves your info even if batt. is disconnected.

We are currently holding and sometimes creeping above 30psi on the red! I believe with the evc6 we could hold 33 to 34 psi with the red! The green is another story, we were only able to hold 26psi by 7k with a spike of 30psi! The easywriter software is alot easier to use, but works the same. I would recommend using the software if you want too log your boost and get it closer!! Later today i will be doing some logs and will post them up. It will be on a evo red.
