Turbo kit and gauge decision opinions needed!

Alright guys i need your imput. First hand experiece is always better. To make a long story short again i was parting out my car to trade it in well ended up getting screwed over by the dealer so now im back to square one. I parted everything out from my sig except for the hks 280s and the HFS-1. Im looking to do a build again but need first hand experiece. Ive been getting more and more interested in the buschur 35r kit HTA or non HTA. Reason being its a nice clean looking install and obviously has proven itself. But i know there are a ton of different kits out there and different options. Below are the kits that come to the top of my head.

Buschur HTA 35r or 35r cast manifold.
AMS 35r
ETS 35r
Peakboost 35r

With that being said the buschur is the cheapest kit i believe from what i have saw. Now it does come with the cast manifold. It obviously performs great but what would be the advantages of doing an equal length manifold? Does this kit come with the licp? Also i have saw some top mount kits and they are very interesting and look nice. But again are there any downfalls to a top mount kit?

Below is the setup i would like to end up with

35r kit (havent made the desicion on which kit)
Exedy Twin disk hd (already have)
HKS 280s (already have)
Aquamist HFS-1 (already have)
Hallman pro rx MBC
Turboxs TBE (already have)
injen intake with uicp (already have)
ETS FMIC
PTE 880cc injectors
Walbro 255 (already have)
BOV (need opinions)

This brings me to my intake question. Is running stock MAF alright with a setup like this? When i previously had my 35r i used my stock MAF and no problems but i only ran 22psi. Is there any advantages to running a straight 4 inch intake and doing a maf conversion? Someone would have to enlighten me on this as i dont know alot on this conversion. Any help here would be appreciated.

On to my last topic. Gauges, What gauges do you guys prefer? I would rather not put them in the apillar again as its not as clean looking to me as the steering column or the dash mount gruppe-s sells. I really love the look and previously had their panel, but is there a need for 3 gauges? What brand do you guys like, that are going to be the most accurate? Defi, greddy, autometer, AEM? I really like the look of the AEM gauges but how accurate is the boost gauge? What would you guys recommend for gauges? My previous setups i have only ran boost and AEM wideband. I found these to be pretty sufficient. The problem is i would like to have all of my gauges match of course as previously i had an autometer boost and the AEM wideband. I believe that is all i have for now. Thank you guys for all of your help!

Im just trying to do this one more time and do it right at the same time. Power wise im guessing is going to be anywhere from 450 to 600whp depending on boost levels and if i go hta or not. Total im looking to spend around 6k max. If you see anything i maybe missing please add!

Matt

Im a fan of Prosport gauges. Defi Style with affordable prices. I bought Boost, Oil Pressure and Oil Temp and put them in a Dash pod from Rexspeed

If you're trying to save some money, ETS has the Super Value kits now available. You can even get the Hta done as an option.

You will be fine on the stock MAF. They flow a lot more than most people think. I made 500WHP with no problem on the stock MAF.

For a tubular manifold, top quality kit AND the cost savings in a complete bolt-on turbo system that carries a lifetime warranty, we feel that the Super Value kit is by far the best deal available. At $2990 with a Precision Turbo ball-bearing turbocharger in a complete kit with tubular manifold and turbo options from Garrett or Forced Performance (HTA) as well, you get to choose exactly the turbo you want and we'll build the kit around your preference. Since you're already planning one of our intercoolers we can ship them together (as well as anything else you might need for your build) and save you even more money on shipping costs. If you have any questions about components, power ratings, installation or anything else, don't hesitate to get a hold of me to discuss at any length

Hi Matt, I up graded stock turbo/green.
Cast manifold 3065 turbo kit
Cast manifold 35R turbo kit
Tubular 37R turbo kit
and now Tubular HTA 35 R turbo kit.
If experience is the best teacher for you than listen to what I have to say.I have built and had tuned 4 different turbo kit's and one bolt on green.
If your goal is to do it right then it's really simple.Buy a turbo kit that supports a Forced Performance turbo on it,(HTA) period.
Even if you have to wait 4-6 weeks it's worth it's weight in gold.My HTA-35R hands down is simply amazing,
The cast manifold you have mentioned, does work well,I never had any problems with them. The cast manifold HTA-35R with a .63 hotside is going to outspool any tubular header out there period.
The best up top power is going to be a Tubular manifold HTA-35R with a .83 hotside, wich I am running now.
Based upon your mods your stating your best bet is going to be a CAST MANIFOLD HTA-35R .63 hotside. period.1-440-839-1900=DOMINATE!

My car is at ETS right now getting the 61mm turbo on there and the reason i went with that turbo is because i have driven a car equipped with the ETS 61mm turbo and holy ****.........just with basic bolt ons, that car made me **** my pants. The turbo kicks in soooooo quick and puts your a$$ back to your seat. The car i believe also pulls high 10s. The kit from ETS is a great deal and the quality is awesome.

I vote HTA 35r and the Prosport Gauges. I think the Defis are too pricey. I would use the money you save on supporting mods.

For a gauges vote you can kill a lot of birds with one stone using the Zeitronix wideband gauge with the optional accessories, egt, boost, etc.

The look isn't for everyone though :P
