All GSC S2 users+anybody using S2's on stock valvetrain?
1)how does the car sound at idle with the S2's and how the driveability?
2)is there anyone that's using this cam on the stock valvetrain?
3)i know gsc tells u to upgrade the spring and retainers but its like another $500 to install that,i am never going to rev above 8K and i recently spoke to sean ivey and he said that u could run the S2's on the stock valvetrain.
4)if i dont upgrade could it lead to valve float and larger problems down the road?

I think with the lift these cams offer, the springs are going to fatigue and you will end up with float.
If it floats too long, Hello Mr. Piston, I am/was Mr. Valve.
Cheap insurance for a big cam. I'd assume your not putting these cams on a stock turbo car so why not spend the extra insurance?

You will most likely be fine w/ these on the stock valve train if you arent gonna be revving past 7500rpm IMHO. But yes it would be "cheap" insurance to upgrade your springs and retainers while you are at it if you want?
