this time it's GSC vs. supertech
I hope I'm not over using my privileges to post about valvtrain, but I am really trying to find the best valvetrain for my budget to finally get my car running again. I have had my car down for approx. 8 months now because I started a build that I wasn't ready for financially. Anyways enough about that. Which would be a better setup the GSC beehive springs w/ oem retainers or Supertech Springs and tit. retainers (not beehive; just normal)? I plan to run GSC s2's on my 8.
I tried looking for info on the supertech , but all I found info on was the dual srpring setup.
Thanks again EvoM

either will be fine as posted in your last thread man, just make sure no oem retainers, get the ones that come with the springs that are titanium, or buy them extra, if the springs retainers and keepers are all an upgraded metal you have less chance of somethin goin wrong down the road.

So I should get the supertech then? Because I was only looking at the GSC beehive springs with oem retainers.
supertechs are a good spring even there single springs are good, the beehives are good, the crowers are good. Go with gscs or supertech imo, make sure no stock retainers though but the titanium ones they offer...

I have the supertech dual springs and they have been good to me so far and they have handles 9500 rpms just fine. But if you get the duals make sure you get the correct valve stem seals.

Or option 3 since you are willing to spend the money is the GSC with the new seats and Ti retainers.
SuperTech is a good product but any time you have 2 springs you have double the chance of issues in the valvetrain. The stem seals they sell (B18B1 actually) work well but require more parts and more labor.

Not a fan of the crappy seals Supertech provides nor the hit and miss quality control on there springs and seats. I would not want to give up the benefit of the beehive design.
