What is the proper boost curve? I've looked at a few dyno graphs, and some have a boost spike and some don't. Is there a preferred style? Is it better to spike the boost and then level out, or just let the boost come up to the desired psi and then level off ? Do people let the boost spike to achieve the quickest spool on the turbo, and hence get torque earlier ? When one lets the boost spike, it seems that you get a spike in torque. Does the torque spike offer more performance benefits? Is it a drag racing -vs- road race thing? Thanks.

Anyone? I'm curious as I feel my torque could be a little better. I recently was tuned on a Mustang Dyno to get 378 hp and 333 tq. on 93 octane.
My mods are.
- Green Turbo ported
- JUN 272's, JUN Springs, and Retainers
- Buschur coated O2 Housing
- Buschur ported/coated exhaust mani
- Buschur V-band 3 inch TBE coated
- Exedy Twin HD
- ETS 3.5 IC
- AMS Lower IC pipe
- 750 FIC injectors
- Walboro FP
- HKS EVC VI set to 25 psi
I am missing the entire intake set up. Would this cause my torque to lag? Thanks again. Attached is my dyno sheet.
