hesitation problems! i need some help

Lately I've been having issues with my car everyone :/
around 3-3.5k rpms i have this hesitation problem. it happens in every gear and i'm unable to cruise on the freeway whatsoever. the car starts shaking and im not able to accelerate. im not in boost, it's just when i'm casually accelerating. i have to let off the gas and punch it in order for the hesitation to go away. for a while i thought it was a boost leak, so i got rid of the boost controller and that didnt help.
i took it to a shop here in vegas and they thought a reflash and tune would get rid of the problem. think that would fix my problems?

what have you checked? check your plugs and wires. try a boost leak test. also. check your intake, maybe a leak or unmettered air going into engine.

is it a certain spot on the throttle position? any logs?

the more information the better we can help.

you're right i was told to check my plugs. im changing those out this week along with my timing and balance belt. also just got a new intake pipe and filter, but the problems were happening before then and still happening now.
as for a certain spot on the throttle position, that could be possible. i'll need to check the tps

^did you swap out wires too? I had that problem on my gst, its a certain spot on tps that does it. never lets me cruise it around 3000 in 3rd gear. I can find it at idle just by reving up slowly.

I had a bucking problem at part throttle that turned out to be the stock plastic BOV leaking (2003 Evo8). I replaced the BOV with the metal MR part and no more bucking.

Hope this helps!

^^avatar. thats just mean...haha.

tamimichix. plz perform a boost lleak test. only way we can figure this out is to narrow it down. removing the boost controller will verify there is no boost leak. I would not reccomend a tune and flash until this is fixed. unless it started after you made some ecu tweaking.

it does it regardless if i've just turned it on or if it's been running for an hour

problem started about a month or so ago. i drive the car less and less now because if it is the wires then a misfire with the wires or plugs could blow my motor. im looking into replacing the oem wires.
