I got a question too, when the evo is warming up or even warm does is kinda vibrate when its idling. Mine vibrates alot when warming up and alittle when just idling. Is this normal? I owned a modded 01 ITR before this and heard every little noise and vibration due to lack of sound proofing so these little things don't bother me unless its not normal. Also I've read threads about a decel noise, I've heard tons of decel noises from my ITR with no problems at all, I think these are normal sounds from the EVO that people just aren't used too.

BTW I'm using nothing but 94 octane and my car idles rock steady at 900 rpm.

Yes...it's normal. Ask any person who have experience with 4G63 motor (especially DSM owners) it's the nature of beast. A 4 banger with longer stroke (to make a 2.0l) That's why they have balancing shaft inside. Helps but still gonna have vibes... same thing when i used to own old 2T motor (Toyota before 4AG) changing a 1600 to a 2000 without boring the lower block.
