It is funny that when Pete delivered the car he was on the phone with me...driving the car. People should not talk trash unless you have the facts to back them up. gamebread26 call Tilton and see how backlogged they are it took a month to get my carbon Tilton.

Way to go and try to start a pissing match in here Steve. Good job buddy!

Like I always say..... PLEASE HATE! IT SHOWS YOU CARE.

This topic was already touched on and stated why the car hasnt been out.

As for Tilton backorders as Jim stated..... recently it took me 3-4 weeks to get a couple carbon clutches that I needed for orders. That was with favors called in too.

Yes it is. When one goes in for repair it waits in line with everyone else, 3-4 weeks is not uncommon. If they are out of parts, or doing a run on a part it takes longer.

My Tilton was slipping and I posted that, someone can search and see how long ago. I still do not have my clutch back, I bought another new one because there was no way I was going to wait.

The Tilton for this car was not rebuilt though. The car sat in George's garage and he put in a new unit last week.

Believe what you want, some of you will believe anything. Maybe if George opens up the engine he'll find it's actually a 454 Chevy engine!

Do you think it is appropriate for a so called "vendor" to be speading slanderous rumors about other vendors on the fourms?

if you have any evidence or solid proof to your claims please post it up otherwise try and act like an adult.

I find it shameful that a so called "vendor" is spreading gossip and rumors against other paying vendors.

I hope that customers take note of this kind of behavior and lack of class.

The funny part of course is that George has been beating the snot of of that car on a daily basis testing a new lower priced clutch we want to start selling to the high whp cars.

The Tilton is stiull out for repair / rebuilding as you have suggested.

Its all to easy to spread rumors and make up stories - much harder to actually build a fast car. Actions speak louder than words.

I have reported the comment of the so called "vendor" who is spreading rumors

I ask that others also complain to the evo m adminsitration regareding this "vendor"

Hopefully with enough warning points one day he will refrain from making nasty comments about fellow vendors

AL, I didnt "spread" rumors. Stop crying to everyone. I just asked if the car has been out and said I heard it was sold for a different reason.

It could be because I heard pete got arrested for doing 250 mph down the highway and he needed to sell the car lawyer bills.

Maybe its because I heard Pete became allergic to the color white and changing 1/2 the car to CF wasnt enough.

Maybe it was sold because Pete decided to buy a lamborghini.

There is No HATE going on here, especially not towards anything to do with buschur. I didnt know other people heard different stories too. I heard something yesterday and just wanted to see if anyone knew anything else, thats all. AL you come on here acting all guilty defending yourself like I said you blew the car up or something. I did NOT say OR imply that. Just simply asked if it was out.

I like Pete alot, i've known him for longer then anyone on here. I was racing him back in 2002 when he had the first RSX type S with a race header on the east coast. Me and him used to run into each other on the hwy and at street races back when I was 18. I have no ill will towards him.

I like David Buschur and their shop alot as well. While I dont nutswing from him like others, I respect David and Daniel ALOT and i'm very impressed with the feats they've accomplished. I drove all the way to buschur like many others WHILE WORKING AT ANOTHER SHOP to get tuned by Dave. I KNOW the kind of work and knowledge that comes out of that shop and I have no doubt that if ANYTHING ever happened to any cars that Dave built, It MOST LIKELY wasn't his fault.

I just wanted to clear the air.

Just say what you want to say instead of dancing around, Or say nothing at all IMO. Throwing innuendo out there is'nt very flattering IMO.
