We've been looking for something similiar in the ECUFlash forum for some time. Now if this can be done similar to the Apex'i box for the 05+ with ACD without the ducts I will be very interested .

I'm sure I'll figure something out. I know that the ACD population is large and I don't want to exclude them.

I checked out a bunch of cars with various intakes and intercooler pipes this weekend. The hardest part of making things universal is the intercooler pipes, as the routing varies drastically from brand-to-brand.

I'm working on the CAD models right now and will be making a few more test parts based of the CAD design. I'll be out of town for over a week, but when I return I'll be gathering some more data as well.

jid2, love the hard-numbers approach. What are the locations of your thermocouples in your test results and what are you using for acquisition?

I've got a thermocouple on the inlet near the tip of the filter, I believe there is a picture on the first page. I have also done underhood temps near the intercooler pipes, basically directly outside the box. For ambient I have a thermocouple near the drivers side mirror.

Right now I'm just roughing in numbers at a high level and proving things out with a 2 channel digital meter, I think there's a picture of it as well on the first page. When I start to nail things down I'll grab a lab certified data logger from work and hookup and little better setup.
