Twin-scroll experience

Hey all!

Showed off the car at work today...everyone was impressed.

Took three people for a ride:
1. Drives a BMW Z4...he grabbed the "oh ****" handle and told me to slow down.
2. Drives an STi...he was impressed (he's doing a $13k build-up himself at SBR)
3. Old school/driver (Camaro's)...he said "I'm impressed!" as he grabbed the door sill (the window was down). Threre was a Fairfax cop standing by her car as I went by...she was talking to a dump truck driver...but she started to move towards her car as I went by...I got out of there and headed for Ft Belvoir.

This car is loud...almost as lound as Betty was when Carlos still had her. I'll try to record the exhaust note (with the TurboXS TB w/Ti straight muffler --the DP has been modified by Nick to route around the oil pan, Helix cat-delete, new Nick-fabricated exhaust header) before the BBQ. The exhaust doesn't sound like what you'd expect...it's starts out deep throated but starts screaming as the boost increases (if you know what a Tasmanian Devil sounds like when it screams, you'll get the idea).

Next week when we get the car up for the AEM, new intake pipe/Tial BoV, oil catch can, etc, I'll take some extra pictures as well.

The butt meter is pegged on "happy"!!

Sounds great, B. I think the response of your co-workers is probably not going to be too far off from the response you'll get from your HPDE instructors -- raw fear!

I'm looking forward to seeing you screaming around the track in your reinvented machine. I better work on my driving so I can get around the corners quicker because I'm certainly not going to make up any time on the straights, especially once Nick really leans on the boost!

See you Saturday.

That's taking into account that I can drive...maybe I can just deafen them into submission!

BTW...I got the Stance Coilovers as well.

Yes, see you on Sat...

Part combination is great, BUT what kind of head work was done? It will play a larger roll in making power than a built bottom end. Also are you still running alky?

No more alky here...as far as head work, not certain at this time.
