i bought an engine from R N R racing a while back and it was a 2.4 liter with wiseco pistons bored .20 over and honed. Cylinder # 4 piston rings went bad and i need new piston rings. my mechanic said that i might need a new piston for #4 too. is it possible that i could get just 1 piston from a site or do i have to buy all 4?? also which size piston do i need too??dont forget im a newbie guys please help me

You can order it from the wiseco catalog far as i know.

http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/Sport...Mitsubishi.pdf

You better be sure that part number is the RIGHT one.

It should just be a piston for a .020 over 4g64. Just make sure you get the same comp. ratio piston.

Hey man your best bet is to take it to someone who builds engines and have them replace all 4 pistons and bearings. Lets just hope your walls are not notched up or anything if so you will need a new block.

If thats the case you can get a used 4G64 block at any junk yard for dirt cheap clean & bore it out and rebuild it.
