Cosworth M2 dynotune

Just installed a set of m2's and got dyno tuned. The tune yielded 362 hp and tq. I was having idle issues after the cam install though. Come to find out that my oil catch can valve was open (the can in between the pcv valve and intake manifold) causing a boost/ vac leak. We could only hit 21 psi during the tune and we were a little confused. The next day after the tune I started looking around and I found the leak. My idle is absolutely perfect and I'm now holding 24 psi. I want to give a big thanks to Brad Brookes and ISP for the amazing tune. Now that I'm running proper boost the car it makes me wonder what the new or real numbers would be. The car feels nasty and is sooo quick on the top and every where else. The idle sounds unreal too. My quess for hp now is at least 375. Once again I want to thank Brad and ISP for the amazing tune.

Congrats! Those Cosworth cams are the ones I'm seriously considering installing this summer. Solid power, everytime. Did you have to upgrade springs in retainers? I don't think it is necessary if stock rev limiter of 7600 is kept.

Nice! I have a set of M2's waiting to be installed. Putting together a few more parts to go with them, then hit the dyno. Hoping for number like yours, especially the torque.

As far as a video I don't have one because my recorder battery was too low (DAMMIT)! As far as valve springs/ retainers they are completely stock. I don't think the springs are an issue until about 8k. During the tune he was taking all the way up to 8k and there were NO problems what so ever. Every once in a while I'll get a slight tick from one of the lifters when cold but it goes away very soon. All in all I am EXTREMELY happy with the car, power, powerband, driveability, and idle. I'm so happy with the power that I'm pretty sure no more power adders will be put on anytime soon. I highly recommend the M2's due to every thing I previously said and plus if I do upgrade anything I won't be limited by the cams.

I just installed mine too..

I haven't got a tune yet so I haven't noticed a difference in the power yet.

The idle is sick though...

whoever said m2 272/272 mivec cams don't idle right are dumb...

I installed mine and my car idles perfect except for the killa LOPE!

I have mine in the garage ready to be installed. I can't wait. I also bought the springs from Cosworth minus the retainers. They said they are not necessary. I'll post up the new numbers once installed.

I also got my M2 cossie installed last week and man oh man, do they feel great on my car.

Midrange power has improved and I think I'm spooling a little faster too . I'm taking my car to the dyno next Saturday and I can't wait to get my car tuned this week .
