My fuel pressure??

I just checked my fuel pressure and it's at 40psi at idle is this ok

Vacuum hose connected or disconnected from the FPR?

With the vacuum hose disconnected, you should be 43.5 psi +/- 1.5 psi.

vacuum hose disconnected from FPR 45psi vacuum hose on 40psi...

You're fine. It's at the top of the spec, but I'm guessing that you are on the stock fpr and have an aftermarket fuel pump like a Walbro? It may be causing it to be on the high side of the spec, but yes, you are fine.
