Official HTA EVOGREEN thread by FP
As most of you know, I love Tony's FPGreen, but I think the HTA Green is going to be an even better turbo. Robert said that the new HTA is better in spooling and midrange, so I'm sure that the efficiency is going to be better. I think with better efficiency, we're going to see better performance up top, since there will be less heat. ANY performance gain up top is going to be a big plus, especially since the low/midrange will be improved also. No way to go wrong. I said it within 1 day of the original Green coming out, and it turned out to be true. I'll say it again, now. When it's available, get it ordered early. I'm definitely getting one.
I hear you. Too many times I've read negative posts about new, quality products, then when they've been 'proven' by the first buyers, the waiting list is too long for immediate delivery. The Green is a proven winner and this will be too. I remember when the Green came out, all of the 50 trim guys were constantly comparing it. Now, although the 50 trim does a fine job too, those comparisons are far and few between.
I remember logging on Buschur's dyno a pull or two where the Green made peak torque at less than 3800 rpms. Granted that was Import fuel, high boost and fairly lean AFR's, but all that stands between most Green owners and those results are ton's of logs, better fuel and careful tuning. The HTA Green is going to make those results much easier with less than Import fuel. I can't wait for early results to begin to be posted. My suspicion is that most of the better results are going to be 'street kills' however.

I didn't want to read all 15 pages to see if this is answered but, i was looking to buy an old green so, im definatly intrested and would even be one of your test dummies if you need one as long as there is good support. no matter what i'd be buying one so is this getting close to releasing? PM ME with price guesstimate if you dont mind and sorry if this has been posted 50 times
I can't see FP releasing a new version that is not as good as the original, so the fact that it exists is good enough for me. If I can afford it I'll get one without any reviews & be the guinnie pig for the rest of those who are on the fence. Since there is a possibility of if being released in a couple weeks, I guess I'll start saving. I'm glad I decided to hold on getting the original green..
I would watch the ForcedPerformance.com website for an announcement. I'm sure they'll say something here too. I will stake my reputation on the new one being better than the original. The HTA version will have everything that the original did and more.
and you wonder why that is?? I think it's pretty obvious...
1) People asking about the FP Red turbo in the HTA Green thread...
2) People asking for price when it's been mentioned that price has not yet been determined.
3) People asking for a release date when Robert explicitly stated early in the thread that there's a MAYBE release of a week or 2.
4) People asking stupid questions un-related to the topic at hand...
I can honestly say I'd be mute as well. I cannot even sit through this whole thread in one sitting and find the information I would LIKE to read about this turbo without seeing every 5 posts about the FP Red, the release date for the HTA, the price for the HTA...
Sorry for the rant, just my worthless 2 cents...

You have a reputation? JK I'd love to have a setup like on OKIX, but with this HTA setup. Hmmmm maybe someday.
